Once upon a time, I was a slave to my sweet tooth.

Cookie dough, ice cream, brownies, chocolate candy… you name it, I had it… that is: Stashed, in case of craving-related emergencies.

My life was a constant cycle of wanting to be healthier and losing control of myself the moment our server asked, “would you like dessert tonight?”.

I was stuck in my own craving-centered hell loop, and I couldn’t ever seem to find my way out.

And trust me, it wasn’t from a lack of trying.

I tried it all: Crazy meal plans, expensive gyms, treacherous HIIT classes.

I spent my weekdays focused on what I was eating, only to go completely off the deep end the minute Friday hit. So I could start over every Monday, cursing myself for my lack of willpower, always promising myself, “I’ll do better.”

And in the end? I found myself still staring at myself in the mirror, wishing I would’ve put down the spoon and lifted some weights.

That is… until I closed the curtain on my dear frenemy, Willpower, and started nourishing my body and life through food, movement, and joy.
