Chocolate Peppermint Green Smoothie (Dairy Free)

Introducing my fav go-to breakfast smoothie, that packs all the same nutrition as a salad, but in a much tastier package. I love this smoothie because it's super easy to make (just throw everything in a blender) and I usually have all the ingredients on hand because I freeze anything that can go bad. This chocolate peppermint green smoothie is the perfect way to pack in nutrients first thing in your day!

Equipment

  • 1 High Speed Blender

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Water (or non-dairy milk)
  • 1 Handful Greens (mixed, spinach, or Kale)
  • 1 Handful Frozen Berries
  • 1 Scoop Chocolate Protein Powder (Plant-based)
  • 1/2 Avocado
  • 1 tbsp Cacao Powder
  • 1-2 tbsp Chia or Flax Seeds
  • 1-2 tsp Peppermint Extract
  • 1 tbsp Maca Powder (optional)
  • Ice (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add it all in a high-speed blender and blend!
  • If you're using frozen berries and avocado, blend for at least 1-2 minutes
